Albato: what it is, how it works & who it's for

No-code app integration and automation platform with AI agents and an embedded option

Updated · Pricing checked October 2026

What is Albato?

Albato is an integration and automation platform that connects more than 1,000 apps so teams can move data and trigger actions between them without writing code. It covers common business categories such as CRM, marketing, ecommerce, HR, accounting and productivity, with over 20,000 available actions. It competes with tools like Zapier and Make, often at a lower entry price.

Albato has two sides. The standard product lets individuals and teams build their own automations, with AI agents and a Copilot that can draft integrations from plain-language requests. Albato Embedded is a white-label version that SaaS companies can place inside their own product through an iFrame, API or MCP, giving their customers ready-made integrations.

How does Albato work?

  1. Connect your apps

Authorize the apps you use, such as Google Sheets, Slack, Shopify or Salesforce, from Albato's library of more than 1,000 connectors.

  2. Choose a trigger

Pick the event that starts the automation, such as a new form submission, order or CRM deal.

  3. Add action steps

Map fields and add one or more actions in other apps. Free plans allow two steps, and paid plans allow unlimited steps.

  4. Use AI where helpful

Ask the Copilot to build an integration from a description, or add AI agents that work across connected apps on paid plans.

  5. Monitor runs

Check logs to see each transaction and fix errors. Update frequency and log retention depend on your plan.

Albato FAQ

Is Albato free?

Yes. Albato has a free plan with 100 transactions, five active automations with two steps each and access to its app connectors. Paid plans start with Pro at $15 per month billed annually or $22 billed monthly, which unlocks unlimited automations and steps, AI features, faster updates and longer log storage.

What is Albato used for?

Albato is used to connect apps and automate data transfers without code. Typical uses include sending new form leads to a CRM, syncing ecommerce orders to spreadsheets or accounting tools, posting alerts to Slack and enriching records with AI. SaaS companies also use Albato Embedded to offer integrations inside their own products.

What counts as a transaction in Albato?

In Albato, a transaction is one successfully executed automation step. Triggers do not count. For example, an automation that adds a row to a sheet and then sends a Slack message uses two transactions each time it runs. Plans include a monthly transaction allowance, and extra usage is billed at a higher rate.

Albato vs Zapier: what's the difference?

Both connect apps without code. Zapier has a larger app catalog and is widely known. Albato offers lower starting prices, does not charge for triggers and includes AI agents on paid plans. It also provides a white-label embedded product for SaaS companies. Budget-focused teams often compare the two closely.

Does Albato integrate with Shopify?

Yes. Shopify is among Albato's connectors, along with WooCommerce and several regional ecommerce platforms. You can use it to send new orders or customers to a CRM, spreadsheet, email tool or messaging app, and trigger follow-up actions automatically.
